Workshops and Team Building

Hands-on creative sessions designed for team connection, not artistic skill.

These workshops translate my material practice into a structured, accessible format for teams. Designed for corporate groups, they offer a focused break from routine—something tactile, collaborative, and genuinely engaging.

Participants create a small, finished object using reclaimed materials, guided through a simple process that balances structure with personal choice. No prior experience is required.

The format is intentionally streamlined: easy to host, minimal setup, and achievable within a standard team session or event window.

Note: these sessions can be a little messy, so casual clothing is recommended.

Ideal for

  • Team building sessions
  • Client appreciation events
  • Administrative Professional recognition
  • Off-site or in-office activations

Plaster Pillow

A quick, hands-on session designed for immediate results. Participants create a sculptural “pillow” coaster using plaster and crushed glass sand, paired with a clean, functional mug or candle. The contrast between soft form and solid material gives the piece a subtle visual impact while remaining practical for everyday use.

How long are the workshops?

Most sessions run between 1–2 hours, depending on the format selected. Shorter, one-hour options are available for tighter schedules (The Plaster Pillow and Mug class is the fastest class).

How many people can participate?

Workshops are designed for groups of 8 or more. Smaller groups can be accommodated at a minimum booking of $400. Larger groups can be discussed depending on space and timing.

Do participants need any prior experience?

No experience is required. Workshops are structured to be accessible to all skill levels, with guided instruction throughout.

What's included in the workshop?

All materials, tools, and instruction are provided. Participants leave with a finished, functional object at the end of the session. All I need from you is the space and access to water.

Where are the workshops held?

Workshops are typically hosted on-site at your office or event space. If needed, alternative arrangements can be discussed.

How much space is required?

A standard boardroom or meeting space is usually sufficient. I’ll provide a simple setup guide in advance to ensure everything runs smoothly and/or we can meet on-site and do a walkthrough.

Is there a maximum or minimum group size?

Minimum booking is 8 participants or $450.
For larger groups, I can accommodate or adapt the format—just reach out to discuss.

Can the workshop be customized?

Yes. Workshops can be tailored to align with your team, event, or brand—whether that’s colour direction, format, or scale.

Are the materials safe and eco friendly?

Many materials used are reclaimed or repurposed from my studio practice, including recycled glass. Sustainability is considered in both material choice and process. Everything is non-toxic and safe for participants. I supply gloves and aprons as an extra touch to make sure everyone keeps clean.

What types of teams are these best suited for?

Workshops work well for:

  • Team-building sessions
  • Employee appreciation
  • Client events
  • Administrative professional recognition

They’re designed to be engaging without requiring artistic ability.

What's your cancellation policy?

Bookings require 24h advance notice for cancellation or rescheduling.

Workshops are billed at 50% non-refundable deposit so that materials can be purchased. The remaining 50% is billed once the workshop has been completed.

How do we book a workshop?

You can inquire through the contact form or email directly to discuss availability, group size, and preferred workshop format.
